Hello people of the Interwebs, here is our Claymation! We were tasked with making a video about underwater pollution. Our video is about two fish who fall in love, but they get maliciously murdered by bits of pollution, along with other sea creatures (aka. Mr Crabby and Eli the eel). We created the models with Play-doh (Ah memories)which took about 20 minutes to half an hour. After that we positioned the models and taped a camera to a box giving the angle of view from above. Greg took the pictures while the rest of us moved around the models for each picture, which believe me took a LONG time. LONG. I feel sorry for Greg, standing there for such a long time with his arm held out like that. Poor thing. The next lesson we had in the IT room (yaay)in which James and Greg created the video on Movie Maker, Tom added the song and Maunighan did... something productive. And Mustafa (that's me by the way, just in case you couldn't figure out that little Da Vinci code), wrote the blog post. THUMBS UP Ms. Ferris!

Inspiration

When we had finished our roles of the lesson, we decided to go onto youtube, to try to give us an idea of what else we could do. here is one of the videos that inspired us:

Also, wallace and gromit are brilliant and inspired us as well

Mississippi Murder

Hello Guys! Once upon a time there was a turtle named Wilf, notice he has 4 limbs before the incident...
Miss Ferris asked us to make Corels by crotcheting.

Making the crotchet at first was very frustrating because it was hard. It was fun when you got used to it but until that it was very difficult. The crotchet was part of our Landmark and we had to make sea corels. The main colour was green because the corel was green. It was a very good skill to learn. I would like to do it again.

fishies in need

We were asked by miss ferris to design an animation relating to pollution in rivers of the world relating to the killing of fish through pollution and litter. I wasn't actually at school on the day that the work was set. in this heartwarming animation you will see fish dying and cute turtles getting captured by fishing net and swarmed with pollution. this playdough piece took a whole double art lesson and used recyled resources such as plastic bags, drink cans and ermpty packet of many types of food. during the course of the lesson we took photoes and uploaded them onto the computer. there is a scary reality behind this lively cute animation, that our carelessness is massacring many innocent fish across the world. many species of fish are being wiped out and they need our help. by Al Taki

River Nile Stop-Animation Film

In Ms Ferris art lesson we were creating stop animation films out of play-doh and other materials around the classroom about pollution in rivers around the world. We deiced to make a fish, a turtle and a crab. After making them we set the background on the back of a blue art tray as the sea and bits of string as seaweed. The story is about a fish who falls in love with a turtle but is swept away by rubbish and so is other wild life. The song accompanying it is final countdown by Europe. It was created by Josh, jed, rubban, aharjan and Akil. It was inspire by the creators of Wallace and Gromit Aardman Animation.
